Your household, your information, your choice.
At Oosby, trust isn't an add-on. It's the foundation of everything we build. We believe you should be able to stay on top of life's admin without handing over your data to anyone else.
We don't sell data.
We don't profile users.
We don't follow you around the internet.
We simply remember the important things you ask us to, and keep them safe.
Most companies bring offers to you by sharing or selling your information to advertisers. Oosby does the opposite.
We bring you to the offer.
When Oosby recognises that you're approaching a renewal (say, car insurance or broadband), we privately check which offers might be available. You decide whether to see them.
If you're interested, you can click through and choose what's right for you.
Your information never leaves Oosby without your explicit action.
No advertisers see who you are, what you own, or what you do.
That's privacy by design and by principle.
How Oosby handles offers
We bring you to the offer, never the offer to you. Timing over targeting. Consent over tracking. Calm over clutter.
Oosby notices when a renewal or key date is coming up (like car insurance or MOT).
We match the timing to potential partner offers without sending your personal data anywhere.
A small prompt appears. You can open it, snooze it, or dismiss it. No pop‑ups, no distractions.
Only if you tap to view do we fetch details. Until then, nothing is shared with partners.
If you decide to proceed, you visit the partner. At that point, you share details directly with them, not through us.
Partners are vetted for clarity and value. Viewing an offer is optional; clicking through means you're visiting the partner under their terms and privacy policy.
Oosby is designed for security from the ground up, using the same standards trusted by banks and large enterprises.
UK users' data is stored in the United Kingdom.
Users in other regions have their data hosted within their own country wherever possible.
Some global services (such as content delivery and secure authentication) may be hosted internationally, always under strong contractual and technical protections.
All data in transit is protected by TLS (HTTPS).
All customer information is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption (AES-256 or stronger).
Backups are taken regularly and stored securely on a separate cloud provider, also encrypted.
Oosby is password-free by design.
We use passkeys, Apple, and Google sign-in via Auth.js, ensuring strong, phishing-resistant authentication.
We never store passwords because we don't have any.
Access to production systems is strictly limited, logged, and reviewed.
Personal information is never used for testing, debugging, or analytics.
All actions are governed by the principle of least privilege: only what's necessary to run the service, nothing more.
We collect system logs only to detect errors, monitor performance, and protect against abuse.
We don't track individual users or record behavioural data.
There are no analytics or tracking scripts inside the app.
Your information lives in the UK (or your own country), never sold or shared.
Sign in safely with passkeys or trusted accounts. No passwords, no phishing risk.
Oosby never shares your data with advertisers. We bring you to the offer, only when you choose to see it.
We'll always tell you what information we hold and why.
We'll never sell, trade, or share your data with advertisers.
We'll only contact you about your account or the services you've asked for.
And if we ever expand Oosby's features, privacy and security will come first, before convenience, before commercial opportunity.
We publish clear, human-readable Privacy and Security Policies that explain our data handling in plain English.
If you ever have a question about how your information is stored or used, you can contact us directly, not a helpdesk, not a chatbot.
Because at Oosby, trust is something you build, not something you buy.
