Account Information

When you sign up for Oosby, we collect:

  • • Your name (if provided by your sign-in method)

Secure authentication:

We don't store passwords or authentication tokens. Sign-in is handled securely by Apple, Google, or your device's passkey system.

Household Information

To help Oosby work for you, you may provide:

  • • Vehicle registration numbers (for MOT and insurance tracking)
  • • Insurance policy details and renewal dates
  • • Property information (for home insurance, utilities)
  • • Appointment and service provider details
  • • Documents and photos you choose to upload
  • • Custom reminders and notes

Technical Information

To provide and improve our service, we collect minimal technical data:

  • • Basic usage patterns (which features are used, for service improvement)
  • • Error logs (to fix bugs and improve performance)

What we DON'T collect:

  • • Your location or IP address

When you choose to see offers:

We show you relevant offers based on your renewal dates, but your personal information is never shared with offer providers. They only know if you choose to contact them directly.

We work with carefully selected technical partners to deliver Oosby:

Your data is primarily stored in UK-based secure data centers. However, some services we rely on (such as email processing) may route data through EU or US infrastructure.

All international transfers are done under appropriate safeguards, adequacy decisions, and with the same security standards we apply to UK-stored data.
